We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher to join our staff team. This post is initially to teach a mixed class of FS2 and Year 1 children. An understanding of EYFS and of Year 1 expectations and assessment would be an advantage. Greenfield Primary School is a great place to teach, with supportive staff whose aim is to ensure all pupils achieve their potential.

Greenfield Primary describes its vision as being to “try our best, to be the best we can”. It considers itself to be a school where all staff have high expectations of student work, children are able to improve easily through feedback, and parents, carers, staff and pupils all share the same positive attitude towards education and behaviour. Expectations are equally high for the whole school community. The school makes use of both formative and summative assessment to raise pupils’ achievement and to help teachers identify their progress.
The school provides a selection of extracurricular activities, including cooking club, street dance and gymnastics, to help fit in with children’s hobbies. Greenfield has recently received awards from Healthy Schools, Sport England, Financial Management Standard in Schools and ActiveMark.
