As the centre enters an exciting period of growth and development, we are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about delivering the very best experience to young people. A new Fab Lab has recently been built here at the College. In order to best make use of the space and facilities, a new, full-time Fab Lab staff member is required at Cadbury to maintain the equipment and to facilitate activities.

The technician will provide full support to the Fab Lab team and facilitate the learning and development of Fab Lab users via the delivery of small-scale demonstrations and training sessions on the use of Fab Lab equipment and facilities, including emerging technologies equipment.

To be considered for this role you will have at least two years practical experience of designing and making products using 3D printers and laser cutters. Experience of teaching/training small groups of 16-19 year old students and adult learners in both classroom and workshop settings would also be required. Finally, you’ll need to be confident communicator, able to interact professionally with a range of stakeholders including school children, academic staff and employers
