The Role


The Central and Morton Academies are seeking to appoint a Facilities and Compliance Manager to manage our sites and facilities. The successful candidate will have an overarching responsibility to coordinate with the Business and Operations Manager and onsite facilities teams at each school, to ensure good estates management in-line with United Learning Trust policies and guidance. The post-holder will ensure facilities Health and Safety compliance and the delivery of successful output is agreed with each school and the Business and Operations Manager. Travel between the two sites will be essential.


The role will oversee the maintenance of hard and soft services, ensuring our schools adhere to all applicable regulations.


You will manage the allocated facilities operational and capital budgets, work closely with the Finance Team on procurement and contractor management, and ensure that services and maintenance with external and internal stakeholders are undertaken in line with statutory health and safety regulations.


In addition, you will be working with the academy Business and Operations Manager in facilities planning and the delivery of agreed capital projects.


Some evening and weekend working may be required to support lettings and events.
