Under the direction of the Bursar, the post-holder will be responsible for leading, managing and developing the School’s facilities, managing the small transport fleet, and administering the school’s Health and Safety management, in an innovative, creative and cost effective way to provide an environment that is core to outstanding teaching and learning.

The post-holder will also have responsibility for:

· Day-to-day operational management, safety and security of the school grounds, buildings, plant, vehicles and contractors.

· Managing the school’s H&S by providing a safe and effective environment for learning whilst responding flexibly to the demands of a busy school calendar. 

As the manager of a proportion of the School’s support staff, the successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage a multi-disciplinary team. They will need to exercise financial and quality control over all aspects of the Facilities team and the projects that it delivers.

Location
