Capital City Academy are seeking a professional and dedicated Facilities Manager with a passion for high standards of facilities management for our state of the art building designed by leading architects Foster and Partners. 

The facilities team has been outsourced in the past to external contractors.  Our new strategy is to build a professional, supportive, friendly and self-sufficient in-house facilities team.  The team requires a Facilities Manager who will lead in building excellent relationships with a variety of contractors who will need to deliver various services according to agreed service level agreements and manage basic repairs and in-house set ups for academic events. 

The successful candidate will be a leader, be reflective, adaptable and innovative in bringing about financial efficiencies to the facilities management function.  They will share the school’s vision and the belief that Capital City Academy will provide an exceptional environment to promote a passion for learning and discovery, enabling all learners to succeed. 

A key objective for the role is to develop a life cycle plan for the building’s assets.

You will be:

  • a professional administrator with appreciation of procurement practices and financial management principles

  • equipped to lead and deliver strong facilities management.
