The Role

We are seeking a skilful, enthusiastic and innovative Facilities Manager to join our team. 

You will support the effective operation of the college on a daily basis, undertaking all tasks necessary for site management and ensuring that the college environment is maintained in a safe, clean and secure condition. You will also contribute to college decisions regarding premises management and development, as well as act at Health & Safety Officer for the college. The role is mainly administrative but you will be required to roll up your sleeves and get ‘stuck in’ from time to time. Flexibility is important and training will be given as appropriate.

Our Maintenance Department

A small, friendly and inclusive team of Caretakers and cleaners led by the post holder - we are an excellent school to work at and will support you to achieve your full potential.

- Experience of property maintenance and Health & Safety is essential

Our School

Clyst Vale is a popular 11-18 Community College situated five miles from Exeter. Our inclusive ethos, students’ excellent behaviour and recent improvements were noted by Ofsted, and we seek innovative and enthusiastic colleagues to raise standards further. Clyst Vale has specialisms in Science, Maths and Computing. Our site is made up of a range of buildings, which has been expanded over the years and which give the college its own unique feel and challenges

Clyst Vale Community College is a mixed, non-denominational academy secondary school and sixth form for students aged 11-18. It is located in Broadclyst, near Exeter, in the county of Devon, and has about 900 pupils.

The academy is operated by the Clyst Vale Academy Trust and is specialist in science, maths and ICT.
