The Hampton School Trust is seeking to appoint a well-qualified Facilities Manager.
The appointed candidate will have excellent knowledge and experience of facilities management, including the implementation of cost effective, well planned and efficient maintenance arrangements. Strong team management and communication skills will be essential to success in this role.
As part of the Bursary management team, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for the line management of the in-house maintenance department, School Keepers, Porters, and the cleaning team. S/he will also take responsibility for all aspects of contract management, property and premises management, and repairs.
Proven experience of the management of external maintenance contractors is essential and the Facilities Manager will be required to ensure the following: value for money and accuracy of work; delivery of contracts on time and within budget; statutory testing and compliance requirements. The Trust benefits from impressive facilities across four sites including a Boat House on the River Thames.
