Oaklands is a thriving special school based in Isleworth and serving the London Borough of Hounslow. Oaklands pupils aged 11 – 19, have severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties and autism.
Oaklands is at an exciting point in its development; we are currently working towards expansion and full school relocation to a purpose built new school in Hounslow for September 2018. Once full, Oaklands will operate on two sites, with a primary school on a separate site. A specialist independent College will operate on our Secondary Site.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced facilities manager to join us in this newly created role. This is an exciting time to join Oaklands as the facilities manager will establish the facilities management for our new school building which we will occupy from September 2018.
We are looking for someone with extensive facilities management experience to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our buildings including housekeeping, maintenance, catering, health and safety and lettings and will line management the site and premises team including recruitment, performance management and training.
