The salary for this role is £42,050 - £47,330 inclusive of London Weighting.

Contract and Hours

This role is offered at 35 hours per week, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

The Role

We are pleased to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager where you will be working alongside an excellent team to provide and maintain a safe and secure environment for all our students and staff in accordance with relevant regulations.

You will need to be a self-starter and an excellent leader with a positive and professional attitude towards managing and prioritising workload in a proactive environment.

Our fantastic school has a range of great facilities that are maintained to a high standard and the successful candidate will need to have excellent organisational skills with the ability to keep calm under pressure. This role is an amazing opportunity to mould it into your own and build on your existing knowledge of hard and soft services.

As part of this role, you will manage a team of school keepers, maintenance and groudstaff, plus oversee our external contractors. You will be required to work closely with the Heads of Department on current and future works to be carried out quality of delivery, within scope of agreed terms and within budget.

City of London School is an independent school based in London for boys aged 10-18.

The school site is situated by the Thames. It has over 20 acres of sports pitches. It was established in 1834 and moved to its present site in 1986. The school is governed by a board and by the City of London Corporation, which appoints its governors.
