We are looking for an enthusiastic & experienced Facilities Manager to ensure the delivery and maintenance of a safe and secure environment for all pupils, staff, visitors, contractors to the sites for Salcombe & Hendon Schools. This new role will be responsible for Health and Safety on sites and the line management of the site team, together with significant interaction with the teaching staff and the senior leadership team. You will be the initial point of contact for buildings, grounds and maintenance & security. The successful candidate will be flexible and able to manage ever changing priorities. Being responsible for Health and Safety you will have great experience of H&S, COSHH and associated compliance regulations, together with project management experience and awareness of CDM regulations.

History

Founded in 1918, Salcombe is a co-educational preparatory day school for children aged between 3 and 11. The school is situated on two neighbouring sites in Southgate, North London, and is served by excellent road and rail links.

Salcombe has a long tradition of success in preparing children for selective maintained and independent schools at 11+, as well as offering considerable opportunities for social, cultural and sporting activities.

Management
