Do you want to join a highly committed, collaborative team in a growing Multi - Academy Trust?   We are looking for an  experienced Facilities Manager to join us and work across both of our schools. The successful candidate will be proactive and able to lead and inspire their team with energy and enthusiasm. They will have the responsibility of ensuring our schools are maintained to the highest of standards  in order to provide a safe, secure and professional environment for all of our community and will make a significant contribution to the next stage of the Trust’s development.

The Trust’s two Church of England schools are The Green School for Girls established in 1796 and The Green School for Boys which opened in September 2017. The two schools are situated within close proximity of each other and many staff work across both sites.    

The position has the option for subsidized accommodation which will be discussed with the candidate at interview.

The Green School is a Church of England  secondary school in Isleworth, Greater London. This co-educational academy with sixth form caters for students aged 11-18. Since 2004, The Green School has been a specialist science college.

The school was founded as a Sunday school in 1796. Its name derives from the colour of the uniform, originally donated to the girls free of charge. There are approximately 900 students at the Green School, divided into five houses named after species of tree.

How the Trust works:

The Green School for Boys and The Green School for Girls are located across the road from one another. This proximity enables close collaboration and support between the two schools whilst allowing each school to develop its distinct offer. The Trust aims to balance consistency with creativity and freedom. For example: we do have a number of policies that apply to both schools; we do not have set schemes of learning that have to be taught at the same time in the same way at both schools. Staff from both schools benefit from joint training and moderation and some staff work across both schools. There is a strong sense of "family" in the Trust amongst the staff, and as the boys' school has grown there are also an increasing number of siblings who attend both schools.
