Facility Supervisor

Job Role

Oversee daily facility operations of the Artemex Sports Centre and Co-curricular activities, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and functional.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive measures to protect the rented space, equipment, and external areas in use (toilets, changing rooms, storage rooms)

• Liaise with the Operations Coordinator to report on repairs, servicing, upgrades, and to manage inventory supplies

• Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure facilities are found and left clean and tidy

• Ensure the facility meets all regulatory requirements related to health, safety, fire, and environmental standards, and report any concerns to the Operations Coordinator 

• Conduct daily safety inspections of the Sports Centre and equipment in use

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, incidents, and safety checks

• Support external academies with equipment setup; carry, assemble, and break down in time to avoid any booking delays

• Build long-lasting relationships with providers through excellent customer service

• Confidently manage large gatherings to ensure a safe and controlled environment

• Support co-curricular activities by assisting the student transition to and from the activity, and ensure coaches have access to the required setup and resources

A good level of English would be expected to build relationships with academy staff and support where necessary.

Some knowledge of sporting operations would be desirable as this is a hands-on role involving setting up various equipment for programs and events.
