From September 2018, we wish to appoint an outstanding teacher with proven ability to engage, motivate, lead and teach mathematics to pupils of all abilities in this 11-16 school. 

This popular and successful Academy is situated in the pleasant market town of Kirton in Lindsey on the borders of North Lincolnshire and Lincolnshire.  We are a relatively small all ability school (537 pupils) but we are proud of the curriculum we offer our pupils both in its diversity and its academic rigour. 

We are also very proud of the school community and the way that we work together, in a positive climate where pupils have every opportunity to thrive.  We are committed to ensuring that all that we do impacts positively on our pupils’ experiences and are dedicated to ensuring that all pupils reach their potential and leave us with not only their personal best in terms of academic results but also fully equipped to lead full and happy lives.

We are a strategic partner of the Humber Teaching School which is led by Healing School and this allow us further opportunities to both lead and learn in Continuing Professional Development Programmes.  The mathematics faculty has the full support of the Senior Leadership Team in its pursuit of excellence. 

The successful candidate will:  

- Be an outstanding classroom practitioner (QTS status).

- Have a passion for leading learning.

- Have proven experience of maximising student outcomes at all levels.

- Seek out and develop exciting and stimulating resources. - 

- Be a strategic thinker with clear views on the direction and development of mathematics.

- Have excellent ICT skills.

- Play an active part a in whole school development.
