We currently have 257 pupils, the school’s success was highlighted in our last Ofsted Report (May 2018). The school has recently moved into a new building and we are in the process of planning a further new build to ensure that the building provides a safe and nurturing environment for all pupils.

All pupils at Meadow work within pathways of pupils with comparable needs. At the core our vision for Meadow is for us to ensure that all our pupils develop transferable skills for life, have opportunities to develop work related learning skills and develop the highest level of personal independence possible. This vision is driving our curriculum development.

Meadow ethos is to ensure that all pupils thrive in a safe and secure learning environment. Many pupils at Meadow are on the autistic spectrum and have associated sensory and communication needs. Meadow has its own therapy team including Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and a Physiotherapist. As a school we are developing better ways to support our pupils to access learning by embedding a therapeutic approach to aspects of teaching and learning across the school. We believe that every learner's needs are central to our model of teaching and that every pupil shapes a lesson.
