The person appointed should:

  • Be an outstanding teacher of Mathematics, modelling best practice to colleagues
  • Be able to demonstrate positive impact on student progress, in relation to external benchmarks
  • Have experience of coaching colleagues and students, with clear impact

The School           

We are a co-educational 11-18 school, in Eastham, Merseyside, England. We are a dynamic, successful and growing school. The school has been over-subscribed for the last 3 years and was graded “Good” by Ofsted in October 2022.

South Wirral is a school where every child matters and every child thrives. The Assessment Process will be:             

  • student voice panel (20%)                                              
  • lesson observation (30%)
  • task (10%)
  • interview (40%)


Letters of application should be addressed to the Headteacher and should address the person specification and job description.

Interview date: Week beginning 19 May 2025
