Hours: 08:30-4:30pm Mon, Tues & Thur. 08:30-5:30pm on Wed and 08:30-3:30pm Friday
Salary: £28,831-£231,425 (actual salary £25,393-£27,678 pro-rata term time only) Pending pay review
Permanent position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a family liaison officer to work directly with our students and families in the community. You will work alongside external agencies to support the families of our students and will form an important part of our safeguarding team.
Skills required:
· Grade C (or equivalent) or above in GCSE English & Maths
· Experience of working with young people and their families
· Good communication skills both written and verbal
· Willingness to complete professional study in relevant areas
· A great team player with a flexible “can-do” attitude
· Understanding or an interest in Special Needs Education Needs and Disabilities
· Patient, resilient and above all a great sense of humour
