SCP Point 19: FTE = £19,446. To be pro-rata to 37hours per week, term time only, plus 5 days.

We are seeking to appoint a professional, dedicated and enthusiastic Family Liaison Officer to join our academy as part of our Pastoral Team. This is a new role created as part of our ongoing academy expansion. We are looking for motivated and ambitious individuals who will be committed to driving our high expectations for all pupils across the academy and have the resilience to make a real difference to the lives of our young people
We are looking for someone who:
- Truly enjoys working with children and is completely motivated by the desire to support them in reaching their full potential
- Can engage effectively and confidentially with parents/carers and their families
- Is able to think creatively when finding solutions and problem solving
- Is caring, kind and friendly to all
- Understands the importance of excellent written and verbal communication; with children, parents, colleagues and other professionals
- Can work as part of a team: including both the wider academy community and external agencies
