This is an exciting opportunity to join Westcountry Schools Trust, currently employing approximately 1500 staff and growing. We are a dynamic organisation with our students and staff at our heart. The Family Support Advisor (FSA) will be a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (D/DSL) and will work closely with the Head Teacher in each school who is the Designated Safeguarding Lead. The FSA will spend 50% of their time in each school, working closely with parents/carers to ensure all pupils are supported in ways that allow them to achieve their full potential, paying special attention to those who are identified as vulnerable. The FSA will foster positive relationships with partner agencies and the wider community to promote both schools as places where safeguarding is taken seriously and done well.
