The Castle @ Theale is a brand new provision for students aged 11-19 with SEMH and ASD run by The Castle School. We are planning to welcome our first students onto a carefully designed resource in September 2022. Do you want to be part of shaping its future?
We are delighted to be seeking a Family Support worker to work alongside families and the students to improve outcomes for all. They will work as part of a multi-professional team to develop holistic pathway plans for students making valuable community links and supporting students and their families to overcome barriers to development and learning, provide targeted early help and improve outcomes for all.
Applicants will benefit from experience of working with families of young people with a wide range of needs and have experience or understanding of local authority support networks and structures.
This person will need to have excellent people skills and a warm and caring personality. The ability to communicate effectively with students, parents as part of the wider school team is important.

This position will be based at our Theale site RG7 5BZ.
