Creating Tomorrow Multi-Academy Trust are a growing Trust supporting schools who believe that children can achieve irrespective of their learning needs. Our new special Free School opens in Luton in September 2021. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual to join the new middle leadership team at Windmill Hill School as our Family Support Worker.


With extensive experience of working with young people with additional needs, you will develop effective relationships with families, care givers and external agencies to become the first point of contact at the school for families in need of our support. You will lead on the school’s attendance management processes to ensure the welfare of our students. 


Reporting to the Deputy Head, you will be responsible for advising and supporting staff across the school with strategies to encourage positive engagement with families. You will draw on your proven experience of multi-disciplinary working to support you in writing and co-ordinating referrals to social care, health and other relevant agencies to meet the full range of welfare needs of our students.
