This is an exciting role that supports children and their families to be the best learners in our school. It is a varied role that would capture the interests of a professional that enjoys supporting families and their children through working in many forms, for example, running workshops for parents, support groups, working with children on well-being and emotional resilience to leading the schools partnership working with Multi-agencies to ensure our children are safe and safeguarding is robust.

If you know you have the commitment and passion to help shape the future of our most vulnerable learners and innovation to overcome challenges that our families face, then we want to hear from you.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a passionate school team with the drive and forward thinking attitudes to provide the very best learning opportunities. We offer excellent opportunities for professional development, supportive friendly environment and a leadership team driven to achieve the very best for the community.

About You

You will need to have experience in this field (see Personal Specification), resilience, drive and energy to be part of our highly ambitious school team. You will be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative. To be confident and comfortable in supporting some of our most vulnerable children and their families, you will align to the values of our school and embrace the ethos of Orchard Meadow.

Orchard Meadow is situated on the outskirts of Oxford City, within Blackbird Leys. Your work will have the power to transform life opportunities where it is needed most. You will be part of United Learning Multi-Academy Trust.

United Learning

Orchard Meadow Primary is part of United Learning, a large, and growing, group of schools aiming to offer a life changing education to children and young people across England.

Our schools work as a team and achieve more by sharing than any single school could. Our subject specialists, our Group-wide intranet, our own curriculum and our online learning portal all help us share knowledge and resource, helping to simplify work processes and manage workloads for an improved work-life balance.

As a Group, we can reward our staff better with good career opportunities, better pay, benefits and ultimately, the satisfaction of helping children to succeed. We invest in our staff wellbeing. Our academies each have at least eight INSET days per year (with three of those solely dedicated to planning), and an ongoing group-wide wellbeing programme. It's an ethos we call ‘the best in everyone’.
