The school is licensed by the Department of Education and Knowledge, Abu Dhabi. Our local regulatory authority operates an inspection rubric based on the Ofsted framework applied to UK schools.  The school’s ambition is to make the small improvements necessary to be rated Outstanding in 2019/20.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Head of Secondary to continue the secondary school’s forward momentum in academic achievement and progress. The successful candidate will be collaborative and culturally sensitive and will work closely with the other members of the SLT, the Subject and Pastoral Leads and the teaching staff to ensure that the Secondary School provides an outstanding educational experience for our girls, preparing them to contribute fully to the communities in which they live.

REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s degree preferred)

  •  Master’s or equivalent qualification in Education

  •  A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check

  •  A minimum of 10 years in education, 3 of which in a leadership role.

REMUNERATION

Salary from AED 24,000 per month (negotiable, tax free) plus generous overseas benefits including accommodation, vacation flights, tuition benefit for school-age children, comprehensive medical insurance.
