Female Teacher of Physical Education

Required for September 2018, a well-qualified and enthusiastic Physical Education teacher. The successful candidate will join a well-established, supportive and successful department. She will be passionate about Physical Education and able to communicate this to our pupils. They will be focused on the attainment of all pupils, have experience of teaching across all abilities, and hold qualified teacher status (QTS). In addition, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate outstanding classroom practice as well as being willing to contribute to the extra-curricular programme; a minimum offer of two afterschool clubs would be expected of the successful candidate. The post would be suitable for an NQT.

The timetable is likely to involve KS3 and KS4. The ability to teach dance would be of interest. The school has excellent facilities including an indoor swimming pool, large sports hall, fitness suite and gymnasium. It is also the hub site for the Barnet Partnership for School Sport. 

The successful candidate would be expected to drive the mini bus to attend fixtures, therefore holding a Full UK driving is essential.
