The opportunity has arisen for a part time teacher of Film and Media to work within the highly successful Film and Media department. The main teaching focus includes, at key stage 4, the level 2 BTEC Creative Digital Media Production, GCSE Media and GCSE Film Studies and at level 3 BTEC Creative Media Production. The teaching for this post combines both vocational and academic courses.
The ideal candidate will have a passion of the creative arts and a strong understanding of how to support learners to learn in a creative and innovative way.
The BRIT School is a unique institution offering specialist education in the arts and related technologies, alongside the full range of National Curriculum subjects. It is sponsored by the British Record Industry and has a unique relationship with the performing and creative arts industries.
The Brit School runs a 5 Term academic year with some school holidays falling at different times to the usual Local Authority school breaks. Please see our web site for further details of our term dates.
