Finance Administrator
Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for finance? Looking for a role where your work directly supports young people's education and outcomes?
At Aurora Cedars School, we're looking for a proactive and organised Finance Administrator to join our team and play a vital role in keeping our school running efficiently.
What you'll be doing
In this varied and hands-on role, you will:
๐ผ Manage day-to-day financial administration across the school
๐งพ Process purchase orders, invoices, and supplier queries
๐ฆ Coordinate ordering, deliveries, and goods receipting
๐ณ Reconcile petty cash and purchasing cards
๐ค Work closely with the Central Finance team to ensure accurate and timely payments
๐ Provide financial data, reports, and support to colleagues and managers
โ๏ธ Support process improvements and help implement new finance systems
๐ Assist with booking training, travel, and accommodation
You'll be central to ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the school.
About you
We're looking for someone who is:
โ Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
โ Confident working with numbers and financial processes
โ A strong communicator who can explain financial information clearly
โ Proactive, solution-focused, and able to work to deadlines
โ A collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude
What you'll need
Bookkeeping qualification or AAT Level 2 (or equivalent)
Experience working in a finance or administration role
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent numerical and accuracy skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Desirable:
Experience in an education setting
