Finance and Operations Assistant

The Hampshire School is seeking to appoint an experienced, pro-active, organised, Finance and Operations Assistant, at this highly successful 3-13+ preparatory school in Chelsea. 

This role has a high level of accountability and responsibility for ensuring that the School meets its objectives, therefore experience in a similar role is essential. 

Key responsibilities include performing basic finance functions such as budget management, invoicing and ensuring appropriate internal checks are carried out on all financial transactions. You will be responsible for completing a monthly payroll analysis and assisting employees with any queries relating to pay. 

The Finance and Operations Assistant will work closely with Bellevue Education in relation to the school’s finances, insurance policies and utilities as well as day-to-day finance such as invoicing and payment authorisations.

You will also support Health and Safety management in school and undertake an annual review of the School Travel Plan. 

Start Date: September 2020
Hours: 16 hours per week (days and times to be negotiated)
Salary: £30,000 per annum pro-rata (£12,000 per annum)
Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays pro-rata (10 days), to be taken during school holidays.
