We are seeking to appoint a Finance and Operations Manager to lead the delivery of outstanding finance and operations across our special academies. This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the Finance team.

Enjoying plenty of variety and new challenges, your role is designed for a high performing, impact driven person who is able to coordinate activity across our special academies, whilst providing an effective service so that educational staff can maintain a core focus on teaching and learning.

You will need to be able to motivate and bring together a team of finance and operational staff to work as one team in ensuring value for money, policy compliance, budget adherence and opportunities to generate income across the respective group of academies.

We are looking for people who are highly motivated, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT or similar financial qualification or have appropriate experience at a senior level.

The successful candidates will be highly skilled and comfortable with all aspects of Finance and Operations, have a proven track record of transformational leadership across a multi-site organisation and have experience of leading an effective team.  You will be able to provide advice and support on SEND specific funding in mainstream and specialist settings including SEND specialist provisions within the mainstream and provide efficient business plans as part of bids for new special schools.

The role will require frequent travel between academies in the areas of responsibility including some travel to our London Office.

If you have enthusiasm and determination to manage and deliver a first class finance and operations service, then we would like to hear from you.
