Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team.
The ideal candidate will be a professional, proactive and positive team player who can contribute to the values, integrity and high standards of our school.
They will be well organised, demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, and maintain high standards of work and care.
The successful candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
They will be reliable, approachable and capable of meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy when working under pressure.
They will also have experience with accounting systems, purchase order processes and spreadsheets, alongside the enthusiasm and flexibility to support the school’s financial operations and staff.
A strong commitment to confidentiality, safeguarding and professionalism is essential. Flexible working hours considered.

St George's School is a fully co-educational Independent School for children from ages 3 to 18. It is situated in Edgbaston, Birmingham, and has around 400 pupils on its roll.
