Finance Assistant / Fee Billing Clerk- Bath

A rare opportunity has arisen to join Prior Park Schools Finance Team as a full time Finance Assistant / Billing Clerk.

The post holder will require a finance background and ideally within a school and/or billing environment. The role will suit an organised and motivated individual who will provide an approachable, calm and professional approach to this role.

The Finance team operates across all three Prior Park Schools (Prior Park College and The Paragon School in Bath and Prior Park School, Gibraltar). This role will be predominately based at Prior Park College in Bath with the rest of the Finance team.

The Finance Assistant will report directly to the Financial Controller and will have a focus on running the School Fee billing system on iSams and iFinance for Prior Park College and the Paragon School, with the key functions of the role as follows:

· Billing parents school fees on a termly basis

· Reconciling payments received, producing credit control statements and chasing non payment

· Administering and reconciling local authority and EYE funding

· Working with external providers and internal stakeholders within the termly billing cycle.

· Playing an active role in all team developments and during the annual audit

Salary £25,000 to £27,500
