Job overview

Key responsibilities include the operation of the school’s fees ledger, operation of the sales ledger for Badminton Enterprises Ltd as well as other financial processes as required.

The successful candidate will have excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to problem solve and prioritise competing deadlines. Previous experience of working in a school or other education or charity environment would be an advantage but is not essential. Most importantly, you will have relevant administrative or finance experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with an excellent working knowledge of Excel. Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal skills and the ability to work cohesively as part of a team are all important qualities.

Hours: This is a part-time role working 18-20 hours per week, all year round. There may be some flexibility around working hours and days. Applicants should be aware that the role is based on-site.

Salary: £25,000 to £27,000 FTE depending on experience. (Actual salary: £12,500 to £13,500).

The school offers membership of a competitive contributory pension scheme which includes employer contributions of 10% and death in service benefit.

Additional Benefits: Lunch is provided. Free onsite parking, use of the school gym and heated swimming pool (at designated times) and access to free fitness classes are all included.
