Job overview

Thank you for showing an interest in joining us here at Endeavour Learning Trust.

Endeavour Learning Trust is a small but steadily growing Trust in the North West, currently spanning South Ribble, West Lancashire and North Sefton. In our family of schools at this point in our growth, we have three secondary schools and two primary schools formally in the Trust, a Teaching School Alliance and a Teacher Training unit (SCITT). We also run one further secondary school that will hopefully convert into our Trust in the near future.

A great opportunity has arisen for a proactive individual, to add capacity, to our small and friendly finance department here at our Multi-Academy Trust. If you have finance, administrative experience and a strong work ethic we would love to hear from you!

Salary: £19,264 to £20,043

Hours of Work: 37 Hours per week

Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm and Fridays 8:30am to 4:00pm

Base: Endeavour Learning Trust Head Office (currently Leyland PR25 2TP)

Endeavour Learning Trust is looking to appoint a Finance Assistant to:

• Provide financial and administrative support under the direction of the Finance Operations Manager.

• Ensure the efficient, accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions that meet the highest operational and compliance standards as required by the Education Skills and Funding Agency.

This is an ideal role for someone early in their financial career who is looking to gain wider experience in a school setting.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, positive, flexible and motivated individual with personal drive.  You will be a self-starter, who can work with minimal supervision; proactive, with the ability to see what needs to be done and to prioritise work accordingly.  You will have strong analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail.  You will have the ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues.

In return we can offer you:

• A truly supportive and encouraging team

• A fantastic local government pension scheme

• Free on-site parking

• A modern, well-resourced working environment

• 24/7 access to employee wellbeing package
