About the role: Leigh Academies Trust has a very exciting role - we are seeking to appoint an experienced and efficient Finance Assistant to join our team working across our Medway Primary Academies and Nursery. The overarching purpose of this role is to provide a comprehensive financial support service to the Finance Manager who also works across these academies. Please note that this is a busy position; our successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritise and also accuracy and attention to detail. Our successful candidate will benefit from being part of an incredibly friendly and highly collaborative team!
The working basis of this role is 37 hours per week Monday to Friday during Term Time, plus two additional weeks throughout the academic year to be agreed with the Finance Manager in advance; we can be flexible on the additional weeks so this role is ideal for those seeking to keep the majority of their school holidays free. You will be reporting into a highly experienced Finance Manager, and our successful candidate should be able to hit the ground running with a 'can-do' attitude.
