We are looking to recruit a Part-time Finance Assistant to join our hardworking and collaborative team, contributing to the smooth running of financial operations in the school.

Your opportunity

The Finance Assistant will play a key role in providing a high-quality and timely support service to teaching and associate colleagues and parents/carers. They will ensure effective and efficient administration for finance processes at school. This will include managing the financial elements of trips, admissions, charity events and lettings. The Finance Assistant will also be responsible for school orders from placement to delivery. 

What we are looking for

  • Someone with financial and strong administrative experience
  • An excellent communicator with a genuine desire to provide the best service to staff, parents/carers and children. 
  • An organised individual who works in a methodical manner, with a high level of attention to detail .
  • Commitment to the aims and ethos of the school.
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating calmness when under pressure.
  • A self-starter who can manage their own workload, prioritising effectively.

The Details:

Start Date: September 2025 

Salary: £22,918.66 - £23,240 FTE

Actual Salary: £10,953.77 - £11,107.35

Hours: 20hrs a week - Monday to Friday (39 weeks incl. INSET)

Location: Based at Cordwalles Junior School or Pine Ridge Infant School - to be discussed at interview

Closing Date: Friday 4th July at 9.30am

Interview Date: W/C 7th July 2025
