Altus Education Partnership, a growing and ambitious trust, is seeking a committed and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our expanding finance operations.
This permanent role is Term Time Only plus 2 weeks, working 37 hours per week.
About the Role
As a Finance Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our financial systems across the Trust. You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance and Finance Technician to:
- Process purchase orders and invoices using IRIS Financials
- Manage supplier accounts and reconcile statements
- Oversee ParentPay and support trip accounting
- Handle cash collection and banking
- Provide frontline support on finance queries and assist in financial system maintenance
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced in using financial or computerised systems (IRIS knowledge is a bonus)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- IT proficient, especially in Excel
- A strong team player with great communication skills
- Committed to the values and vision of Altus Education Partnership
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above are essential
