Finance Assistant

We are currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team, supporting the smooth running of our school's financial operations.

Position: Finance Assistant (Financial Officer)
Location: Alfred Salter Primary School, United Kingdom
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year; must already be proficient with Arbor FINANCE.

Role Overview:
As a Finance Assistant, you will play an essential role in managing day-to-day financial tasks including processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, reconciling bank transactions, assisting with budgeting activities, and supporting compliance with financial policies. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within education finance. We are open to this role being part-time or full-time and may be a permanent or short term contract.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a role using Arbor Finance, which is a different platform to Arbor Education.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and financial procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
