We are seeking to appoint the following post:

FINANCE ASSISTANT

NCC Support Staff Pay Scale, Grade E, points 13-15

(Actual Salary: £14,902 - £15,427 per annum)

37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year

(39 weeks term-time, plus 3 weeks)

(8:30am-4:30pm Monday - Thursday, 8:30am – 4:00pm Friday, with 30 minutes lunch break)

Wollaston School is a large, over-subscribed, rural community school located in a village setting about 15 minutes’ drive from Northampton. Our student intake draws on a number of nearby villages and we have over 1400 students on roll, with approximately 280 students in the Sixth Form. 

We have an excellent opportunity for someone to join our finance team. The team offers a range of financial services to school, which include; accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and payroll. Working within a busy department, we seek someone who is; highly organised, a team player, works effectively under pressure, possesses a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, and should be proficient with all Microsoft Office packages (particularly Excel). We use the following systems - SIMS/FMS/Sage, and experience in these would be advantageous but full training will be available.
