About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and flexible Finance Clerk to join our Cluster of Academies and work within our Finance Team. Experience in a role like this is not necessary as full training will be provided.

The role requires good IT skills, a customer focused attitude and great communication skills. The role is initially based at Avonbourne Academies however is part of a Finance team providing services for the United Learning cluster of schools, Avonwood Primary School, Glenmoor & Winton Academies and Cornerstone Academy, across Bournemouth and Poole. 

This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours Monday to Friday, flexibility on these hours would be considered for the right candidate.

About you

You will be highly motivated with good communication skills as you will be a crucial point of contact to both staff, students and parents across the cluster. You must also be well organised and able to work to under pressure and to specific deadlines.

Avonbourne Boys’ and Girls’ Academies are two 11-16 secondary schools based in East Bournemouth where students share a campus and are taught in predominantly single sex classes. When students reach our onsite United Sixth Form, mixed classes are reinstated.
