Finance Director
Circa £75k
The College is looking to appoint a top class experienced finance professional to be an integral part of tour vision to take the College to financially Outstanding in 2020. As well as being CCAB qualified, the right candidate will have experience of managing finance teams and developing individuals.
The role would be ideal for an experienced Finance Director or a senior finance manager looking to step up. The successful candidate will be strategically aware but not scared to get into the detail and willing to take a hands-on approach to the role. A truly exciting opportunity to make a real difference.

Wigan and Leigh College is a further education college in Wigan, Greater Manchester, which has been providing education and training locally for more than 150 years. It employs around 1,000 staff and has a student roll of about 17,000. Further education students can choose the A-level professional honours programme or vocational qualifications such as BTECs. An expanding higher education portfolio of foundation degrees, top-up degrees, higher nationals and certificates is available to adult students of all ages, both full-time and part-time.
Wigan and Leigh College operates from several sites across the borough: the Parson’s Walk Centre, School for the Arts and Pagefield Centre are in Wigan, close to the town centre. The Image Centre and Leigh College are close to the town centre of Leigh.
