The Opportunity
This is an exceptional and rare opportunity for someone who has the qualities, skills and experience to be the Finance Manager at Cheltenham Muscat and Downe House Muscat.
The role provides an excellent opportunity to join two vibrant communities and play a central role in the growth of two premium schools in Muscat, Oman.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team at both schools, and reporting to the Principals, the Head of Finance is responsibility and accountability for all financial affairs at Cheltenham Muscat and Downe House Muscat.
Additional reporting and communication will be required with the EduReach Core Team and the School Boards.
The Schools
Cheltenham Muscat and Downe House Muscat are located 1km apart in the Al Bandar Development, in the Rusayl district of Muscat, Oman.
Cheltenham Muscat opened in September 2021 with excellent pupil numbers that exceeded expectations. Cheltenham is the first UK style independent international school for boys and girls aged 3 to 18 in the Sultanate of Oman. Our partnership with Cheltenham College in the UK, who have been educating pupils both from the UK and abroad for one hundred and eighty years, is genuine.
Downe House Muscat is the world’s first authentic international girls’ school run by a premium all-girls’ school from England. It is also Oman’s first private international school for girls. Through our partnership with Downe House in the UK, we proudly brought the first UK premium girls’ school influenced by one hundred and fourteen years of world-class British education, to Oman. Currently, girls aged 8 to 18 have the opportunity to be inspired and challenged as they grow into confident young women preparing to play their part in the world.

The structure of Cheltenham Muscat is:
Pre-Prep KG1 – Grade 2
Prep Grade 2 – Grade 8

The school is located in the Al Bandar Masterplan – a 1.1 million square metre development situated in close proximity to Muscat International Airport, City Centre Muscat and many residential communities. Our state-of-the-art campus houses some of the finest school facilities in Oman. These include dedicated libraries, a central atrium, a STEM centre, an Art and Design centre, music and drama classrooms and practice rooms, IT labs, indoor and outdoor sports facilities and a 25m x 6 lane pool plus learner pool.
