Finance Manager - Grade 6 (SCP 26-28) £23,398 to £24,964/SO1 (SCP 29-31) £25,951 to £27,668 - Depending on experience

Required as soon as possible

37 hours a week, all year round (term-time plus additional weeks considered)

Uppingham Community College is a highly successful 11 – 16 years school and the governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding Finance Manager, who has the tenacity, skills and flexibility to work in a fast moving environment.

The successful candidate will be educated to NVQ level 4 or will have relevant experience at this level. Well-developed organisational skills, communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. A good understanding of school systems and procedures would be preferable.  

The post holder will be expected to undertake a wide range of duties, and should have an exceptional understanding of budget management accounting processes, procedures and should have the ability to be able to analyse and interpret complex information/data.
