Job overview
Southport Education Group is seeking to appoint a detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our team. This role is integral in supporting the financial operations of the Group, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of finances.
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of statutory accounts, managing budgets, and providing regular management information to support the Senior Leadership Team. You will also ensure work closely with External Auditors to meet all audit requirements.
Producing monthly statements for budget holders, monitoring capital expenditure, and ensuring the effective maintenance of the College’s finance system will also be key aspects of the role.
About you
We are seeking candidates who possess a degree or Level 4 qualification, along with an appropriate accountancy qualification. Substantial experience in finance management, including managing budgets and resources, is essential. The successful candidate will also need to have a proven ability to meet objectives and targets.
