Governors of this warm, welcoming and inclusive school wish to appoint a suitably qualified candidate to join the school as a Finance Manager.
To contribute to the effective running of the school, providing financial and administrative support under the direction and guidance of the School Business Manager, and supporting the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and teaching staff in their work.
The successful candidate will be subject to a full enhanced DBS check.

The Finance Manager reports directly to the School Business Manager and assists the Senior Leadership Team. The Finance Manager may act as Clerk for the Governors committees subject to demand.
The role of the Finance Manager is varied and demanding. You will be required to multi task, be flexible in your approach to the role, be organised, be strategic in your thinking and have excellent interpersonal skills.
As Finance Manager, you will work closely with the School Business Manager to support the effective management of the school’s finances, including budget monitoring, payments, reconciliations and financial reporting. We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and approachable colleague who is organised, works accurately and respects confidentiality. You will be eager to learn new skills, bring a creative approach to improving processes and enjoy supporting staff, students and families as part of a busy school community.
