We are looking to recruit an experienced and self-motivated Finance Manager to join our highly successful and oversubscribed school. The role is covering the maternity leave of the substantive post holder. It is a part time position, for a minimum of three days per week and there is an element of flexibility regarding working days and hours. 

With a professional accountancy qualification, you will possess strong financial acuity and excellent problem solving ability. Experience of working in the public sector or educational environment is essential. The ability to manage a small finance team is also required. 

Responsibilities include the preparation of the draft budget; provision of monthly budget updates; maintaining appropriate audit standards; ensuring financial procedures are strictly maintained; management of year end process and talking leadership of the finance office. Working alongside the Headteacher, you will ensure our resources will facilitate our goal of delivering outstanding teaching and learning within the school.
