Description Full-time Permanent Finance Officer Position at St Pius X High School Adamstown
Position Requirements Adamstown St Pius is seeking a qualified, experienced and enthusiastic professional to apply for the position of Finance Officer. The Finance Officer will provide administrative and accounting support within the scope of responsibilities of the finance team.
Essential Criteria • Clear understanding of and personal commitment to the mission of Catholic schooling
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work co-operatively in a fast changing team environment
• Practical accounting and administrative skills.
• Proven knowledge and skills with MS Excel/ Word and accounting systems.
• TAFE diploma and/or tertiary finance and administration qualifications or equivalent in accounting and/or business administration.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role.

Conditions of EmploymentSalary will be in accordance with the salary scale for Administrative Support Staff - Level 6.

The Catholic Schools Office (CSO), is responsible for the leadership, efficient operation and management of systemic schools which educate more than 18,000 students in 45 Primary schools, 10 Secondary schools and one K-12 school in the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.
