Finance Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of our growing central Finance Function. Our ideal candidate will be a part qualified Management Accountant (Finance Business Partner) who is able to support the Chief Finance and Operations Officer in ensuring that monthly monitoring is taking place in line with best practice and ESFA statutory obligations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of month end procedures and will be able to build excellent working relationships with our Principals and Senior Leaders within the schools, providing timely information to support their decision making. You should be actively studying towards an ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification, and study support will be available for the right candidate. We are looking for a proactive, positive and fun individual who understands the importance of effective finance monitoring processes and systems in an education setting, and who has a genuine interest in contributing to the success of young people.

This position is both challenging and rewarding with the opportunity for the right candidate to grow and develop along with us. The pace is fast but with commitment and drive you can grow with us as the Trust enters its next phase of development. The appointee will report, and provide comprehensive management accounts support, to the Chief Finance and Operations Officer.  We are happy to consider full and part time candidates for this role.
