Herts & Essex Multi Academy Trust (HEMAT) are seeking a Finance Officer to work as part of an effective finance team. Working with a newly appointed Finance Manager, this role is key to the effective processing and administration of the finance function. 

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a busy finance team, excellent IT and communication skills. It is essential to be able to complete a process thoroughly with a high level of attention to detail.

The Finance Officer will process expenditure and income up to bank reconciliation. They will also administer the finance function to ensure processes are followed accurately. Training and CPD will be provided for candidates keen for progression.

Full time (37 hrs a week) term time only (39 weeks, inc CPD days + 2 weeks),47.7 paid weeks per year.  

Part time will be considered.
