Reports to: Business Manager 

Salary Range: NJC scale 5 (£24,693 - £26,520 FTE) pro-rata, plus contribution to the Local Government Pension Scheme 

Hours: 36 hours per week, 41 weeks per year 

Start Date: January 2022 

We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Finance Officer to join the business and administration team at our school. As the Finance Officer, you will work closely with our senior leadership team, the central finance team of Bourne Education Trust, staff and external agencies to provide cohesive and effective financial support to the school. 

You will be responsible for processing invoices and ordering, dealing with financial transactions, being the first point of contact for suppliers and provide support to the Business Manager. You will follow best practice with regards to financial controls. 

The successful candidate will be able to work well as part of our team, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organised and have the ability to meet tight deadlines. Previous experience of working within a financial environment is essential and knowledge of PS Financials would be desirable. Support and training will be provided from the Trust, but most importantly you will have a passion and commitment to the delivery of an outstanding service to our school and be ready to make your contribution to improved school outcomes for our children and young people.
