Our school strives to be a Catholic community in which the Christian principles of care and respect are valued, with an emphasis on the development of the individual through academic achievement and personal development.

Sacred Heart School consistently tops the GCSE exam league table in Southwark which places us as one of the best performing non-selective schools in the country. Our results have ranked us as second in the country out of nearly 3,000 schools by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust.

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Criminal Records Bureau.
