All Saints is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to commence Monday 20th May. The suitable applicant will have prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting procedures. Previous experience with Dynamics will be highly regarded. Typical duties performed include, but not limited to: Processing of the following: School fees generation; Accounts payable; Accounts receivable; Bank reconciliation; End of Month process and BAS; Maintain wage and salary records; Preparation of staff contracts and budget in conjunction with the Principal; Enter all financial data and prepare financial and management reports for review and authorisation by senior management; Census preparation and lodgement in conjunction with the Principal; General Secretarial and office duties; respond to enquiries from staff students, parents and general public and address issues accordingly.

Weeks Worked:  School term weeks only - holidays unpaid

Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term):   Monday 20th May 2019 - Friday 20th September 2019

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required:   30.4 hours per week - Required to work 7.6hrs/day on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. 8am to 4pm.

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   School Officer Level 3

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019


This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.

About All Saints Parish Primary School

All Saints Parish Primary School is an independent, mixed, Roman Catholic, mainstream primary school in Albany Creek, Queensland. It has over 700 pupils enrolled and caters to students from prep to Year 6.

All Saints Primary School was founded in 1989 with the help of a grant from the Commonwealth and ongoing parish contributions. A prep school was introduced in 2007 along with the building of a new parish centre and two prep classrooms and two general purpose rooms. The school is a part of the Brisbane Catholic Education family of schools.

The school has a state-of-the-art resource centre, with two computer labs and every classroom is equipped with interactive whiteboards, laptops, iPads and iPods. There is also a library reading area, media rooms and a Mac lab. Camps and excursions are also a big part of learning at the school and are a prioritised part of the education programme.

Curriculum

The curriculum concentrates on the subjects of English, maths, science, history, health and P.E., the arts, cultural literacy, languages and R.E. It emphasises the importance of seven general capabilities: ethical behaviour, intercultural understanding, literacy, numeracy, ICT capability, personal and social capability and critical and creative thinking. Music and sports are important at the school. Students can participate in everything from choir and jazz band to tee ball, cricket and disc golf competitions.
