We are seeking a Finance Secretary to assist the School Leadership Team in a wide variety of administrative and financial tasks to support the financial operations of the school in line with policy and legislative requirements.
Under the direction of the Principal, you will coordinate financial administration activities and provide key support to ensure the school delivers on key reporting deadlines, through your interaction with staff and members of the school community.
You will demonstrate initiative and the willingness to work positively as a member of a team, be a skilful negotiator who is able to liaise with the school’s clients with empathy. Additionally, you will be highly organised and be able to demonstrate sound judgement, confidentiality and discretion.
Experience with the BCE finance system AX Dynamics is desirable but not essential. Other office duties may be assigned as appropriate.

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required: This is a full time position requiring 38 hours of work per week. The position is term time with four extra weeks of employment per year.
Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate: School Officer Level 5 - $31.91 per hour
Employment Conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019
